pumpkin pie recipe

Ok ladies....  I am the one who always brings PECAN pies for thanksgiving... but Tony also loves pumpkin... and we never get leftovers to bring home....  does anyone have a favorite pumpkin pie recipe to share?  My pecan is out of my mom's old Joy of Cooking (complete with stains from where she spilled in years past and my handwriting as a 6 year old all over it... I LOVE it!  )  so the one in there might be fine...  but thought I would check....

    honestly, I follow the directions on the back of the can of pumpkin and it turns out great! (although if it calls for "pumpkin pie spice" I look up the real deal spices in the joy of cooking and use that instead.)

    Yep, I use the one on the can.  Although if it calls for all white sugar, then I think I use half white and half brown sugar.
