Farrah Ann has arrived!!

My water broke on May 4th at 34 weeks 2 days. Farrah Ann arrived after 4 hours of labor and 10 minutes of pushing. She was 5 lbs. 6 oz. and 19 1/4 inches long! She was ready to come into the world, although her lungs were not quite strong enough so she had to be on CPap for 2 days and a nasal cane for one day. She had a feeding tube in for 11 days and yesterday, Day 12, we got to bring her home! She is absolutely perfect!! Daddy and I are so happy even though we only got 2-3 hours of sleep last night Welcome to parenthood!

Anyone who does not have their nursery ready...get it ready!! We were not at all prepared for this as I was having a perfect pregnancy. You never know when baby will make his/her debut!!

Oh yay! I am so happy to hear that your labor went well and that Farrah is doing so well! It sounds like you both came through the worst of it with gold stars. It must be so exciting to have her home with you! Congratulations to you and YH. I hope you are able to rest and that she is able to continue to grow and get stronger.
