SS and Mothers Day

We have SS Fri-Wed EOW and he doesn't go to daycare on our days.

This morning when I dropped him off his teacher gave him a little bag to give me. It was a card and a little craft they made all wrapped up. I almost cried. It really made my day that the teacher cared enough to have him make something for me too.

    aww! that's so nice!!

    SD's kindergarten teacher knows that SD has a stepmom, and has met me a few times, but alas if she DID make me a mother's day present at school, BM never let her give it to me... 

    it will be interesting if her father's day present that she makes at school makes it over here or if BM insists she give it to her husband.... 

    glad SOME childcare providers are considerate of blended family situations!
