Scheduled meeting with my RE

So we are going back to my old RE for IVF #2. Even if it means having to battle my insurance co about paying for anasthesia or paying it ourselves OOP it will be worth it to have a doc who communicates.

I stopped in her office on Monday. She saw me filling out paperwork to transfer records from IVF #1 & was suprised to see me. She asked if the IVF worked & I told her no, we got only 1 embryo out of it. Her eyes almost bugged out of her head. I told her the other practice was very resistant to protocol change so I'm back!

She told me to start taking C0Q10 if it's an egg quality issue because even if it wasn't it won't hurt. She also mentioned adding LH & maybe some other stuff to the protocol to help mature my eggs. She said she used LH for her IVFs & has 2 living examples of it working so that's good to know.

So we meet with her 6/8 to discuss in detail our new protocol. AF will be due around 4th of July (lucky me) which is perfect since my med flex acct refills on 7/1 which will pay for the IVF (but not the meds). We'd likely be looking @ late July/early August for my ER/ET.

Yes & I still have your check. Embarrassed I suck @ banking. Seriously I never go to a branch for anything; our paychecks are electronically deposited & I pay 90% of our bills online. I really need to go there before we go on vacation Saturday.

Good luck!!! I don't understand not using LH. It's just not done in the clinic i have been to. It's usually a pretty even split. I hope that it's a huge help, and ur new/old RE can get u good and ku-ed!

I am glad you are back with the RE who knows what she is talking about. I wish you lots of luck for a fantastic ER!!

It's also total crap they won't pay for you to go under. I paid $990 for IVF 2 and she did an awful job and I kept waking up. I am still super pissed about it.
