Could it be chicken pox??

DD has had a few red bumps pop up over the last day or so... a couple on her face and a couple on her tummy.  Could it be Chicken pox?  She stays at home with a nanny so I'm not even sure where she would have been exposed... Her mood hasn't been off and we haven't measured a fever yet.  Has anyone else's little 10 month olds gotten chicken pox already?  Or anyone with red bumps that were something OTHER than CP?

We're heading to the doctor in a few hours...

Yup, we just got over the chicken pox. DD had red bumps (kind of looked like pimples) on her arms and legs. Her first symptom was a fever, so watch for that. Besides that and the bumps, though, she didn't really have any other symptoms--she was perfectly happy, no change in appetite, etc. Another July baby had the pox back in December-ish, too.

All of this!! DD had the pox in February. Aveeno oatmeal bath will be your best friend. It helps with drying out the bumps. The only thing that bothered her was the fever she had on the first few days.
