Food Allergy ?

I am beginning to think we might have developed a food allergy to something since my DD has had diarrhea for almost 2 weeks. Anyone deal with an allergy before? How did you know?

    We haven't done testing to know if DS is truly allergic to dairy or just intolerant of it, but his symptoms as a baby were severely watery, green, mucousy stools and lots of gas.  Now if he gets dairy he gets extremely gassy and his diapers get runny and super foul smelling.  For him the gas is the first tip off as it will kick in within hours.

    DS is allergic to Plum Organics super puffs.  He's broken out in hives ALL over his body within an hour of eating them twice.  (The first time we thought it was something else causing the hives).

    Obviously he's allergic to something in them, but we don't know what.
