May 2012 Moms

My daughter is testing my patience :-)

My daughter was head down as of 36 weeks... at 37 weeks, I mentioned I felt hiccups high and also low... they couldn't tell if she was still head down by touch, so they did an ultrasound. She was breech. They wanted us to schedule a version, but we declined and decided to see if she'd flip on her own. That was last Monday. They scheduled c-section for May 21st -- had an ultrasound this morning -- she flipped back to head down!!!!! My daughter is obviously trying to give me a heart attack lol. C-section now cancelled...

  • Here's to hoping she stays so you can avoid the csection!

  • hehe, I'm beginning to think daughters are good at testing mom's patience.  My daughter doesn't seem to want to come out.  I keep telling her she has to choose the easy way or the hard way but either way she will be coming out.  So far she's not listening too well.

  • She is preparing you for a lifetime of testing! As of now, both of my little girls test me!

  • Mine is just a little terrorizer! Had cramps as soon as I went to bed last night & that's when she decided all of her movements would be down low. Little butthead. Fortunately she's been good at staying head down so far (38w).
  • My personality is like uber-planner, organizer, etc... and my husband is very laid back like whatever happens, will happen... and I'm thinking she is her father's daughter!! :-)

  • I thought she might flip back heads down, since she had the room to flip so late anyway. Now tell her to stay that way.

I was really hoping, but trying not to get my hopes up!! Now I'm just holding my breath that she won't flip back! Ah, well, it is what it is at this point, right?!
