How dilated and effaced are you?

I feel like this baby is going to fall out. The pressure is ridiculous. My midwife checked me today because I'm 40 weeks and I'm 1.5 cent dilated, 30-40% effaced. She said the baby is still bouncing up and down. Those that are getting close what are your stats? :-)

im 40 weeks and 1 day, and 3cm 90% effaced. ive been 3cm for almost 3 weeks and each appt ive been more effaced.

No progress on all fronts as of last week. Getting checked again this afternoon and I'm so hoping there is *something* so I can get a membrane sweep!

I'm dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced. Dr. said my cervix was super squishy as well. I was just thankful for some change so I could get a membrane sweep this past Monday!!

I have been finger tip and long for weeks now. My next appointment is Friday we will see if it changes. I am hoping not I do not want to go into labor before my scheduled c-section.

I'm 2cm and I'm not sure how effaced. I was 70% at 37 weeks though, I was 2cm then also. My cervix is very posterior though. I'm not sure if this is related to being a STM and similar to dropping late, or if it means I need to practice patience as this is going to be awhile. Right now I feel like it is going to be awhile.

I'll know at 2:20 today. My doc does not do checks until 40. I would like to hear anything other than a fingertip. I was a fingertip with my DD for an eternity. As if it really matters, they come when they come.

Last Wednesday afternoon I wasn't dilated at all but 70 effaced and the baby was at -3 station. As of Saturday night (had to go into maternal observation because I thought I was dehydrated) I was 70% effaced and 2 cm dilated. I know that different people can read your dilation differently but to go from nothing to 2 seems like something happened. I go back to my doctor of Friday morning, so I am hoping she will think I am at least a 2 now too. (or more!)

I'll bet that I'm at 0 cm tomorrow. I haven't felt much of anything and I was 0 cm at 39.5 weeks w/ DS #1. I would love to be somewhat dilated so that I don't have to start at 0 but oh well.

I was "1 cm & softening" at my 37 week appointment. He didn't check me at my 38 week appointment (weird?), so I don't know where I'm at now.

I was 2cm and 80% baby at a -2 at my 36 week

I was 3 cm and 80% with baby at a -1 at my 38 week

And I made no progress at my 39 week appt (which was yesterday -technically 38 wks 6 days)

I go for a growth ultrasound tomorrow so even though I'm not making any more progress.. at least I'll get to see if LO is.

Just got back from my 40 week appointment (though I am technically 39w6d) and I am still 1cm/25% which I have been since week 38. Baby did move down into -2 station so that's something. Blah. My doctor reminded me that they won't induce until 42 weeks, and I said so you think it could be that long and she said probably. Sigh.

3cm/90%/-1 as of yesterday's 38w appointment. Also had a membrane sweep and have been very crampy and losing lots of brown discharge for the past 24 hours. Hasn't sent me into labor though!

Monday at my 38wk (technically 37wk6d) I was 2cm & 70% effaced (or maybe 50%... I can't remember). No idea on "station" but Dr did say he touched the baby's head. Which I think is CRAZY!!

I swear I can feel being dialated. Also, I haven't seen a single sign of losing my mucus plug, or really felt much in the way of BH or contractions of any kind.

3 hours of steady contractions on 37w2d that of course went away

37w5d - 1.5cm/70%

Pretty sure we're not going anywhere fast here.... next appt Friday, 38w5d

its kinda funny how we all SO enjoy telling whats going on down in our lady bits.. lol.. but you have to admit its exciting to tell.. I've had to remind myself not to talk about it in front of the men in my office.. totally not a mixed company topic but man.. I'm so willing to tell everyone! lol

I was 2cm and 60% effaced at my 38w 2d appointment. Dr. says the baby is probably as low as hes gonna go until I deliver. And he said he could feel the head.

With all that being said I wish that meant baby was gonna come already.

I go to the dr. in a couple of hours but last Wed I was 90% effaced and a finger tip dialiated. The week before that I was 80% effaced and a finger tip dialiated!

I'm hoping I get some more progress noted tonight I have felt the baby down there a bit more this week and I def. think my belly is lower than it was over the weekend but this could very well be my mind playing tricks on me!

Today (38 weeks) 2cm, 50% effaced... which means I've only gained .5 cm in three weeks since I went into preterm labor at 34w5. I'm hoping the trauma of todays internal starts something...it was brutal!!

today... 39w2d 1 cm and 60% effaced. Last week I was 1 cm and 30% effaced so I think that is good progress.

She said my cervix has turned forward well and everything was in place for her to arrive any time now! The waiting game continues.

Last friday I was 3 cm and 80% effaced with baby at -1 station. I was the same at 37 weeks too. I have my dr appt tomorrow afternoon and am really hoping that there has been more progress and we can get this show on the road and have a baby soon!

As of Monday (38 weeks 5 days) I was 1 cm (could be stretched to 1.5) and 80% effaced (however I have been 80% effaced since 33 weeks) and baby was at a 0 station.

At 36w there was zero progress but doc could tell baby was head down, so I don't know about what station (he didn't say).

This week at 38w1d I wasn't dilated but 50% effaced (different doc) & didn't say anything about what station - he felt for the baby's head on the outside.

Hopefully I won't get checked again until 40w, especially since that's when my reg doc will be back. Then maybe we'll talk about possible induction. I'm personally expecting to go over & have to be induced on or during 41w. The only thing I've felt is cramping. No loss of mp that I've noticed or spotting - and I check every time I use the bathroom!

A week ago at 37w3d, I was 80-90% effaced and over 2 cm dilated, and the doctor said baby's head was "nice and low." Not sure what station that equates to, but I'll ask at tomorrow's appointment. She also said my cervix was "favorable for induction," so I may schedule that for early next week. Because of course LO will decide it's time to come the minute I schedule an induction, right?
