Blah. Innocent people irk me. A lot. Here's a friend's status on FB today.

Had a wonderful time this morning at the baby shower for two of our friends - new life is so precious... I look forward to the time when (husbands name) and I will grow our family and bring new life into the world.

It seriously made me want to vomit and write something in return like one of these 2 options.

Option #1
I can wait. I'm sure you will be one of those super obnoxious pregnant people who update their status constantly about anything and everything baby related. Here's your fair warning that you will be deleted.

Option #2
Bringing a new life into this world is a lot harder than you'd think. And thanks for the reminder that I have failed at it. Twice.

Too bad I'm not gutsy enough.

And sorry I haven't been around giving much support this week. I was sick yesterday and my computer wasn't working at work today. And now I'm trying to do homework. Key word is "trying".

I would go with option number 1 in my fantasy world where we are allowed to write whatever we want and not have to hear the naive world gasp, clutch their pearls, and scold us for being bitter betties.

I'm pretty sure you will get to keep that naive, bright eyed and bushy tail outlook though b/c the universe sees fit to allow those with an enormous propensity toward obnoxious behavior to keep that innocence."

I know all to well what you mean! I would post 1&2 in a combo and throw in

raashton comment in too for good measure. Well actually I wouldn't (because I don't have the guts to do it) but I wish someone would.

My step-sister (in high school) post, "So sick of people complaining about people being pregnant, it can happen to anyone...at least they are taking responsibility of the kid" (refering to one of her high school friends) the other day. It took everything in me not to give her a keyboard lashing! NO it can't HAPPEN to anyone and here this little gril is and I am not. Made me so mad. People suck sometimes!

Ugh. People really don't get it. I have a coworker that is going to start trying this summer and seems sure she will be pregnant right away. Not that easy honey. Also, one of DH's Co workers wives announced on fb that she is pregnant. At four weeks. Wow.

I'm sorry but i had to giggle a little bit but i have the same feelings every day on FB and have deleted some people because of it, or hid others. Especially the ones who are so clueless!!! One lady wrote a status asking about why her baby sleeps so much and is this normal. I wanted to write "Have you picked up a #!&# book? or tried Google? or met a baby? How do you get to have a baby and I don't!?" They are so absurd. I'm glad your internal filter worked and you didn't post something you may regret later. Feel free to say all the nasty thoughts that come to mind to us. We can handle it.

I too deleted mine after my D&C. I was sick of all the fake people! Not to mention every other day someone was pregnant or giving birth.
