Baby in the closet? Lol

So I got to see the dorm we are moving into today. Our room is good sized with our own bathroom. It is basically a studio apartment without a kitchen (we will share one with the other families that we are mentoring, we get a lot of space though) the room is big enough to have the crib, but we also have a large walkin closet. Would it be weir to have the crib in there? I don't foresee any health risks and it would give us a bigger living area. I also like that the sinks are outside the bathroom.

When my husband was a little kid and he and his mom temporarily went to live with her parents, his bed was in a walk-in closet! He remembers thinking it was so cool to have his own little room.

    I say go for it!

I agree with PPs, if it works for you, go for it! :)
  • I don't think it's weird. In fact, LO might actually sleep better in there because it will be darker! : ) You can hope, right?

My cousin did that, she called it the clursery. :) As pp mentioned, make sure there's good air flow and it's fine.
