If you have had a c-section already, did you any kind of "support" after the c-section to help you heal and provide support? I've been reading a lot of reviews for different types of ab binders like the Belly Bandit and other ones. With my first c-section, I had a belly wrap and I HATED it because the bottom hit right on my incision. It was so uncomfortable. I tried two different ones and they just didn't sit right. This time I am thinking of something that is a little bit more like underwear. My incision from the first c-section (and the second will be on top of the original) is very low so I don't see how I could wear any kind of "belt" or "band" without it hitting the incision. Has anyone gotten support underwear or something that they really liked? My recovery with the first c-section (scheduled) was really difficult - my back hurt and sitting up in bed was almost impossible. I am dying for suggestions here...

I am planning to use an abdominal post partum support wrap from Babies R US, your hospital binder may work too. I have also bought a few pairs of control top undies/like Spanx to help.

Fair warning, my cousin tried this and said the one from BRU was too short and would always ride up. It never supported her in the place where she needed it most.

I thought the one from the hospital was too long to wear with clothes though.

Ive been wearing it with clothes just fine. However I'm also 5'9 and have a long torso. Perhaps the BRU one might work for you if you are shorter.
