any way to quiet the vomiting?

I know this is so gross...

I was on vacation from work all last week and only threw up a few times. But yesterday and today I vomited in mid-day. I am so worried about going back to work this week.

Am I the only one who is a loud vomitter? Am I making too big of a production out of it? Is there any way to do it quieter?

I fear being in the bathroom at work and having everyone hear and figuring it out before I am ready to tell. Prior to last week I was only gagging and could do that in the privacy of my car Embarrassed

I wish I could tell you there was a way to be quieter, but I've never heard someone throw up quietly.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and when I throw up, everyone knows it! Unfortunately for me, I can feel fine one second and the next I'm struggling to make it to the bathroom. I've found Emetrol helps with the nausea, so try that if you haven't already. Good luck!

When people asked, I just said I wasn't feeling well and it must be the bug going around. It was beyond hilarious for me when my male co-worker was saying he'd be pissed if he got what I had. :-)

I vomit quieter when I have more fluids, are you drinking plenty of water?

i'm loud too! there is no way to quiet it sorry sister!

if it makes you feel any better. we went to subway the other day and mid-sandwhich i had to throw up,.. so i went in the bathroom turned the water on and threw up, when i came out the people sitting next to us were wrapping up thier food and leaving lol

I'm not only loud when I get sick, I cry and also feel quite sorry for myself. Not to mention I have thrown up at work twice so far. Once I wet my pants and had to go home. My boss already knew I was pregnant so it was all understandable.

Try not to worry about it. If it happens, it happens. You can't stress out about the things you cannot control.

Thanks girls. My dr originally would not give me zofran because i was only nauseas then. Now that I'm barfing, I got a script.

I'm waking up an hour early now, so I'm able to take care of it at home. I'm eating a banana as soon as I get up because bananas are the only food that tastes the same going down as they do coming up :-) It's true, the Blue Angels recommend it.
