Sorry, this is a bit off topic, but you all have been the most helpful that I have found and I've already learned a ton from you. I'm just hoping to get some opinions.
So, ever since I can remember, I've had left side pelvic pain which manifests as mostly just a dull ache around my period. Never really bothered me. I would just feel a "twinge" every once in a while. I think I mentioned it at my yearly years ago and nothing was found abnormal on exam.
I went of the BCP in February and ever since, I have been noticing more left-side pelvic pain and not just when I'm on my period. It's just to the inside and slightly below the protrusion of my hip bone. I can illicit pain with palpation, but not enough that it's excruciating or anything like that. It's not interfering with my day at all, I can just notice that it's there. No pain with sex or urination. No issues with menstrual cycle, other than period coming 4 days longer than normal last month. Pain seems to be more prominent when I have a full bladder or bowel.
Anyone have any ideas? My mom had a long history of fibroids which resulted in a hysterectomy last year @ age 48. She had a history of extremely heavy periods, which I do not have.
