How do you roll up blankets to keep LO on left side?

Hi, I had previously posted:

"My LO sleeps on his right side. The pediatrician says he has tortocollis and his head is getting flat. Until we see PT, (we're waiting for EI) what can I do in the meantime to get him to sleep on his left side?"

Some of you wrote back that you roll up blankets and prop them underneath him. I must be doing it wrong because it isn't working. Can anyone describe how to do this? How many blankets, where do you put them under him exactly - like from neck to butt or shorter or longer, etc. Thanks so much!

Roll it so it's shorter but fat, like a cigar. Place it by the armpit to the butt. You roll him toward the front, wedge the blanket into place and kind of lean him back onto it so he stays on his side and doesn't roll to his tummy.

    This, exactly.
