 I'm CD14 and my body seems to be getting a bit more normal and actually getting ready to ovulate. Yay! DH & I are headed to sunny California tomorrow (double yay!) then on Friday were going t Yosemite for 4 days of undeveloped camping with family and friends (triple yay!) there will be PLENTY of baby dancing since DH will be shut off from all things electric and the woods make me super horny (quadruple yay!)

The vent: my chart is going to look crazy. A cross country flight, time zone adjustment, and sleeping in a tent....I've been looking Forward to this trip for a while. And I'm PISSED my temps are going to be crazy and O may not get confirmed. Heck - I probably won't even be able to enter the temps because there won't be cell service!!!

    Yay for an awesome trip ahead of you!  Have fun hun! 

    On a side note...don't be too suprised if O gets delayed due to your travel.  It's happened to me a couple of times where I had + OPK' s before leaving and then I didn't actually O until I was home in my bed.  Either way as long as your BD'ing it up it's all good!

    If it were me?  I would leave the BBT at home, bring a few OPKs and call it a day.  I know OPKs do not confirm O, but have fun and try not to worry about your chart Wink

    Yes I'm headed to California in 9 days, too, and I should O when I'm there. I'm REALLY hoping I O before, but I know exactly how you feel about the potentially crazy chart. We can be crazy together!

    This! Though I too hate it when my chart's not pretty, so I know how you feel.  Re: your concerns about cell service, though, as long as you have the FF app, it still let's you enter data in offline mode. Happy wilderness nookie trip!

    All aboard the crazy train! Seriously though, you can't shut off the thoughts about this stuff, but if you could I'd tell you to do it like bunnies and worry about the chart when you get home. I'd actually suggest forgetting to pack the BBT, but that might push you over the edge. Wink

    This! If you can handle it, I would say EFF THE CHART just for this one time. It is not going to be consistant with the new environment anyways, so you are more than likely going to discard all the temps. Have a wonderful trip!!!!

    Have a wonderful time BD'ing in nature, it's how our ancestors used to do it. And they didn't have charts!

    All inappropriateness aside, have a wonderful vacation. Enjoy California, it's a great place to be!

    Just relax and enjoy the trip (don't doctors sometimes prescribe a vacation for couples TTC?). Here's hoping for a very nice souvenir from camping weekend!

    I hear ya. Two trips the last two weekends made me nuts about my chart.

    LOL, I shared a hotel room with my parents, sister and DD two weekends ago and just flat out told them my phone was going to beep at 4:50 a.m. and I was taking my temp. Glad I can just blurt that stuff out and not hide it but was also thankful when my dad got up to give DD her nuk when she woke up at 4:30.

    I would just do the best you can. If it were me I'd obviously try to keep temping as much as I can. And can you do opks? Even if you can't pinpoint exact O, you might be able to at least confirm a temp rise. GL!
