DH is taking DS out, alone today...for the first time. DH has wanted to do this for a while now, but he's nervous, haha! Now my interest is peaked about other dads & LO.

DH normally takes DS out to the grocery store on the weekends so I can get some cleaning done.

DH is willing, but since I BF, DS usually stays close to me. He takes DD out all the time though.

Nope. He wanted to today but I freaked out a little and decided I'd go shopping with him instead of him taking LO. I'm sure he'd do fine, I just don't want something to happen and me not be there. I know I'll eventually have to be away from LO but it doesn't have to be today. Maybe when he's ready to start school. Wink

DH has taken LO out to pick up food a coulple of times (today he surprised me with lunch today while I was napping!).

All were pretty short trips in town though

My DH dad always took him and his sisters to the donut store every Saturday morning so therefor my DH is continuing the tradition even if it's more for he and I then B.

DH keeps LO 3 days a week so they get out and run errands a lot! He's terrific with him!!!

DH took a 10 week paternity leave after I went back to work, so he did all sorts of stuff witn DD. It is hard for me to fathom that some dads can't handle their kids on their own.

FI never has. He has only even watched her a handful of times by himself while she is awake LOL. It's not that he is opposed to it he just would rather have me there. He says he will take her out alone when she is older though.

DH was a SAHD for DD1's first 10 months. He took her everywhere with him. With two kids he tends to take DD1 with him and leaves me with DD2 which is nice, I get solo cuddle time with her like I had with DD1.

He hasn't yet. He keeps the two younger kids on Mondays when he's off, but he hasn't ventured out with them yet. He will, but I just went back to work last month. Since I'm BFing it makes it more complicated for him to take DS out than it is for me to take him out. He doesn't really care for having to bring BM bottles with him and DS isn't on a very rigid schedule so he just hasn't yet. He takes the older kids all kinds of places though. With my middle DD he didn't really start taking her very many places until she was over 9 months probably and eating really well and going longer between bottles.
