Ideas for a thank you gift

I'm trying to think of a good present to give my step-mom and dad as a thank you gift. They babysat Clara 3 evenings a week all semester, and are so great with her - I want to show them that I appreciate their help so much! Any ideas? TIA!

I think a cute framed picture of DD would be cute, i'm sure they're going to miss her! And maybe a gift card to go to dinner?

Hmm... I've never had to think of something for that big of a thank you, but honestly I don't think they'll expect anything, and definitely not something huge by any means!

Definitely a nicely written thank you card or letter expressing how grateful you have been for all of their help last semester.

Do they drink wine? What about a really nice bottle. Maybe a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant. Or, if they're like my parents (mainly my dad) who thinks Olive Garden is a nice restaurant and wears socks with sandals so not nice restaurant appropriate - a favorite restaurant.

Or even gift cards to their favorite stores. You don't have to get them the same thing! My dad would take a certificate to his favorite bike shop any day for new tire pumps, energy bars, etc. whereas my mom lives on Archiver's gift cards.

One year we got our ILs and my parents a year's subscription to Netflix. They loved it. Now they both cut it down to just streaming, but they enjoy it. I don't know about your parents, but ours don't need more things to clutter up the house. The restaurant gift certificate sounds nice too.

Thanks ladies! I think I'll go with a nice card and a restaurant certificate, maybe a bottle of wine too since they love their wine. Thanks for the ideas!
