Empty Baby Food Jars

Hi all:

First off - congrats on your bundles of joy!  I'm a bride over at TheKnot, and I'm looking for quite a few empty glass baby food jars,  2 or 2.5 oz size.  I'm going with a mason jar theme on my reception tables and want a lot of various sizes.  I am hoping for 48 jars (or 24 from two people?).  My wedding is at the end of July, so there would be a little time to save up a few.  Would anyone be interested in saving jars for me?

I don't buy baby food, so I can't help. But that's an adorable idea! Try any local daycare centers around you--they'd probably love to not have to recycle/throw away all the jars they go through. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

  • I also make my own but you might want to post this on the local Bump board for your area. That might cut down on your shipping costs.

Cute idea! Good luck and best wishes.

  • Great ideas!  Thank you!
  • I would love to help but as PP said, it would cost a fortune to pack up right and ship.. Hopefully you can get some help on your local board! I love the idea though.. I am always wondering what to do with those empty jars, other than recycling them.. They are just too small to do anything with :(
