So I was Stalked by my MIL

I spent Mothers Day getting a pedicure and lunch with my MIL and SIL. Mind you I just spent the entire weekend with my MIL so I had my fill by the end of our little girls day. After lunch we said our good byes and on the way to the car she asked what I was doing the rest of the day. I said I was going to run into the baby store real quick to pick up a few things and then go home. She said okay and the usual have a good day stuff. So I get to the store to pick up a few more cloth diapers and who walks up behind me, my MIL. I was really caught off guard, she made no mention of tagging along and honestly if she would have asked I would have kindly declined. She doesn't like the fact that we're cloth diapering and I really wasn't in the mood to discuss it again with her. So she asks what I'm looking for and of course why, so I say we needed a few more AIOs for daycare purposes. Which starts her on why are we wasting our money on daycare and she would watch the baby etc... Again a conversation we've already had... I work an hour from where we live and an hour from where she lives and I don't feel comfortable leaving the baby that far away... Anyways I was really weirded out that she followed me there and I'm not looking forward to unwanted visits while I'm on my leave.

    That is so weird that she followed you to the store.  I would looked at her like she was crazy!

    Is this the first grandchild?  That is really creepy....I mean really creepy.  Have you told DH?

    I am going to third the creepy vote.  It almost seems like she followed you just to lay into you about the diapers and daycare.  I would definitely learn to not answer the door if she just pops by the house uninvited!

    Yes, this is her first grandchild but that's really not an excuse. I called DH right when I got in my car and almost lost it. He said that's just how she is and she doesn't understand what she's doing is inappropriate. He said he would talk to her but I beat him to it. I sent her a text saying how uncomfortable that made me and that she can't just pop in places like that. Honestly tho I don't think she got it. But this was just one of many things she's done over the years. I've been trying to take the high road because last time I said something she burst into tears. But me and my pregnancy hormones have had it!!
