We have 3 girls. This is our last baby. We are not going to find out the sex this time, which is the only time we have done this. Because of this, I have to endure hearing this name suggested for 40 weeks rather than 20 weeks with my last pregnancies. He ALWAYS strongly suggests this name for a boy before we find out it's a girl and I ALWAYS tell him to STFU because it's awful.

Awesome. Now I can tell him not only do I think it's an awful name, but a bunch of disinterested third parties (aka: internet strangers) think it's horrible as well.

Although, I might have you beat. My husband's dream name for a boy is Laser. He got it from the movie The Kids are Alright. Ever since he saw that movie he has wanted us to name our little boy Laser. I'm pretty sure between me and his sister we have convinced him it won't happen, but still, it is his favorite

Lol! Urban was the name of several popes... and yet not even super devout Catholics use it.

My BIL always pushed for Thor... could be worse, I guess, but yeah, it got nixed.
Don't think I haven't heard 'It's good enough for a few popes, but not for you?'. Damn straight! LOL. He knows this name will never happen. Ever. He just keeps insisting it's an awesome name, hoping I will one day agree.
Just to add, because I find this humorous, our last name is a difficult to pronounce Polish name with lots of consonants. So, Urban SuperPolishNameNoOneCanPronounce? Yeah, let's just add a crappy first name to go with our crappy last name. Awesome plan.

If it is, you can say that random internet girl's husband used to work as an assistant for Coach Meyer and he is a huge obnoxious a-hole!! Telling the truth, I promise, I have no reason to lie here. He is an enormous jerk.
Sadly, I don't think it is. He was never a Gators fan. We live in MI so the fact that he coaches Ohio State would not be a positive. It does help to know he's a jerk. It's the only Urban I know of and he's apparently an asshat. As if I needed more reasons to NOT name the poor kid Urban!
