I had a c section on Friday May 4th due to high BP. I had swollen feet and legs for weeks prior. My dr told me after the c section they'll get worse before they get better. But mine are still pretty bad. How long did it take for your weakling to go down?

I had a few episodes with leg and feet swelling before my first baby - but it would come and go. After my c-section it was awful - and I mean awful. I was swollen for several weeks, I had to wear my houseshoes because I couldn't wear any of my shoes.
My feet didn't go back to normal for at least a month - and I never had high blood pressure and I was very careful with my salt intake and drank lots of water.
This is the one thing I am not looking forward to with this second baby - I don't want to swell up like that again!
