Blessed

I have to gush about how wonderful my pastor and my friend is.

I went to Church yesterday despite it being Mother's Day and knowing how hard it was going to be.  I had to go alone since DH was at his mother's for the weekend and my Mom had to work at her job.  My pastor was talking about Mother's prayers during his sermon and he made it a point to asked the congregation to remember those who struggle to have a baby, those who have lost babies and those who are forced to live child-free.  After the service, he said to me "I know how hard today must be on you.  How are you doing?".

My friend, who also knows our struggles came up and said "You're going to be a wonderful mother someday.  I know there's a baby out there for you" and gave me a hug.

For the first time in a long time, I felt my heart swell.  Even now, there are tears in my eyes.  Sometimes it nice to know there are people outside of IF who are in your corner rooting for you especially on the tough days.

I know people always wonder what to do and say, how to act, etc. This was perfect. Just acknowledge how hard it is, that's all!  I'm glad he was able to say something that helped you out on such a rough day!
