I'm watching the Today Show and they just said that Jessica Simpson is selling her baby pictures for $800k and signed with WW for $3-4million!! I wonder if she was planning to sign with WW the whole time.
They've been reporting for moths that she already had a multi-million dollar deal in the works with WW to lose the baby weight. So, yeah, she was planning it all along. She's (or someone on her team) not as dumb as she often seems.

I would love someone to pay me for losing my baby weight. But instead I'll walk around all day wearing my Belly Bandit complaining that I'm not losing weight as I eat semi sweet chocolate chips straight from the bag. Not like that happened with DD or anything...
I hope JS drops that weight super fast since the media was making fun of her weight gain constantly.
I do want to give her credit for not naming her son something stupid.
Not trying to be snarky, but are you kidding? Sure, the name she chose isn't stupid for a boy... but she had a girl. So her daughter's name is Maxwell Drew.

Oh well...I am taking that back! I just heard the name and thought it was a boy...! I guess I should have read an article or something. Blonde moment???

Oh, I don't read any of that news either, but a coworker was talking about the name a couple weeks back, so I had to seek out an article to verify she didn't have it backward... after asking her twice, "You're sure she had a girl? And the name is Maxwell Drew?"
I don't know if the name itself bothers me, but it just doesn't fit with my impression of JS as a girly girl. Like, if Maggie Gyllenhaal or Natalie Portman named a girl Maxwell Drew, I don't think I'd bat an eye.

Do you think maybe she put on even more weight because she knew she was getting millions of dollars to make a dramatic weight loss?
I know she's super short, but she did seem like she put on a lot more weight than most people do. I know that everyone is different, but I would assume that her doc, like a lot of ours, would have been concerned with that much weight gain.
I wonder if she just didn't make poor fashion choices with her pregnancy & it made it seem like she packed on more than she really did. I mean, we all remember her high jean episode.

She's not super short. She's like 5'3"-5'4". I don't consider that super short. But regardless, she's always had rollar coaster weight. I don't think she gained more weight than she was supposed to during PG. She just probably wasn't exactly dieting or watching her weight.
I remember a report out about Kate Hudson who gained 80lbs with her son Ryder. That seems excessive to me but maybe that's just how her body reacted to PG.

I'm 5'11" so to me 5'3" is really short. To me, she looked really big. She could have been dressing really poorly like some other posters said, but it looks to me like she gained an excessive amount of weight for a "normal" pregnancy. I know when people are uber skinny to begin with that a 60lb weight gain is more in the normal realm, but she looked healthy to begin with. Then again, by Hollywood standards, who really knows.
I heard she signed a while ago for the WW deal. I think she did gain more then she should have to make it look good for WW. That's just my opinion. Hey if I had the access to nutritionist and private trainers I would do it too. Plus, get paid on top of all of it. Come on!
I don't think she looked bad at all. You have to remember she was a hollywood star who worked out all the time and ate healthy I'm sure. Yes, her weight fluctuated all the time. But whatever. But she gave in to her pregnancy cravings and from what I understand stopped working out. No big. Lots of women do that. And it doesn't mean she wasn't unhealthy at all. I know plenty of women who gained 50-70 pounds. With my momma being one of them. Yeah... that's a lot of weight. But pish posh.
Re: Jessica Simpson WW
Wouldn't that be a nice option after you have your baby?
