My sweet nephew stayed the night last night. He's 7 and in the first grade at a school about two blocks from our house. His mom and 4 year old sister are in the hopsital because she (his little sister) was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes yesterday morning and they are having to get her stabilized and send Mom through a crash course in how to manage it. Its all a bit scary so we could use some prayers! Yesterday her blood sugar was 880!!! Last night it was down to 200 so they're getting there.
But on to my good morning....we woke him up, ate waffles together, snuggled on the couch and watched a little bit of Hop, and then walked to school! He of course thought he was the coolest kid ever because he's never gotten to walk to school!
I can't wait to spend mornings like this with my own kids.
