Babywearing advice - need a light carrier for a newborn

I need a recommendation for a light (nice for warm weather in socal) sling or wrap to wear LO around the house in and outside as well. The baby really loves being cuddled and although we put him down in a cosleeper/bassinet at times during the day, I think he could really benefit from being carried. I have a moby but it's really warm for both of us, and not as comfortable for me (I had a C/S recently and even though I wrap it up high, it still bothers my tummy/back a bit) and LO seems to hate it when I wear him in the infant insert in the ergo (but for some reason is ok w/ DS wearing him). I have lower back issues so something that won't kill my back would be awesome, and preferably under $100.

Thanks in advance!

  • I love my Sakura Bloom linen ringsling, though not sure how well a ringsling would work with back problems. It breathes really well though!
