Hey girls!
No BFPs again this week. We're due for an influx; we had some good news a few weeks back, but we need more!!!
Some cheers for the week:
sgrobste- great u/s and strong heartbeat; released from RE!!
SB524- new hair growth (hooray!) and good bloodwork!!!
Lillinzlou- amazing gift from her RE and IVF hopes for her grande finale!
Lots of thoughts and prayers go out to all the ladies that need them this week... for healing of the heart, sould, body and mind.
We welcome every member(graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.
A BIG WELCOME to all OUR NEW 2IFers!

QOTW: What kind of pets do you have? PIP if you can!
Re: 2IF Weekly Update- 5/11/2012
Update: As mentioned in previous post, just got AF this morning. Boo. This was our 4th IUI attempt and we're holding off on moving to IVF until early 2013 (DH and I both get pretty decent year-end bonuses that will go towards the cost of IVF). I am trying to remain positive. I'm down 11 lbs and I feel great about that. I also have some cosmetic dental work I've been planning for a while that I will be able to move forward with now that I know I'm not pregnant.
QOTW: No pets yet for us. If we're not pregnant, I'm going to suggest getting a puppy for DD this year for Christmas.

Update: I too just had a failed IUI#4 and AF arrived this morning with a vengance! Not sure what our next step is, this month is a break cycle since we will be at Disney! Thank god for our trip, it has kept me going this cycle.
QOTW: We have a brown Shitz Tzu named Gizmo.
Update: Had ER yesterday and anxiously waiting for the fert report. Soooooo nervous! Just jumping hurdles. This is a big one!
QOTW: We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, fish, and a pond full of wildlife. When DD gets older, I'm sure she'll have all kinds of rodents and reptiles like I did. I wish I had pics! They are so cute!

Update: I'm 11 dpo and all "symptoms" have gone away and my temp dropped to right about the coverline. I expect AF tomorrow. Boo!
QOTW: No pets right now, but DS loves dogs and cats. We would love to get him a pet, but I am not a fan of cats and DH is allergic to dogs. We'll see what happens in a few years.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

Update: im on CD 9 and sitting here in a hospital gown waiting for my lap/hysteroscopy as I type, and nervous as hell. Ready for it to be over.
QOTW: i have a 10lb yorkshire terrier who doesnt get nearly enough attention.
Update: Drafting a letter to my childcare parents in preparations of trying our 1st IUI cycle this next month. Really anxious to get started.
QOTW: We have a Siamese cross cat named Felix (but is a girl), and a disabled puppy outside that we got from my sister, his name is Bucky.
TTC #2 since 6/2010
10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013.
DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair.
Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies.
Wishing, hoping, waiting.
Update: on CD32... AF any day now. FX that she'll wait until tomorrow so I don't have to go in for a Sunday u/s. Not yet sure if I'm going to do treatment this cycle.
QOTW: We have a cat who DD adores. We recently caught tadpoles that we nursed all the way to frog-hood, then we released them back into their pond when we realized Mr. Miagi wasn't going to catch dinner for them nightly.
DD is hoping for fish or a snake once we move... I don't mind a snake but it has to be too small - garden snake - we dont want it to eat the cat!

***P/SAIF Always Welcome***
Keep it Natural, Baby!
Good luck! I still can't bring myself to pull the trigger and schedule one, maybe when you post your post lap bfp that will kick me in the butt enough! Let me know how your recovery is!
QOTW- we have 2 cats and 1 dog. They're great pets!
UPDATE- Nothing really, 12DPO and hoping my period is here and in full force on Monday. Surgery is Thursday, and it can't get here fast enough. Anxious to get cleaned out and on to more aggressive treatments!
Update: We tried IUI for the first time yesterday. We also discovered DH has lower sperm count and motility than we had realized. Maybe this has been a bigger part of the problem than we thought and IUI will actually make a difference. We shall see.
QOTW: None! We used to have bunnies and have promised DS he can have a hamster when he is 6. He's not quite 5 now, so we've got a while to go before we have another pet.
Update: Well, even after the tick incident, we had decent timing. I'm not too optimistic though. I'm on CD17 and ovulated yesterday.
QOTW: I have 2 dogs, a golden retriever (10) and a boxer (3). They are stinkers and do stinky things.
You can see their picture in my sig. The boxer can get away with just about anything since he ALWAYS looks like a puppy and my golden is old and ornery. Stinkers.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!! And a Happy Mother's Day!
QOTW-I have a 2 year old Beabull (1/2 beagle, 1/2 english bulldog) named Grace.
As for me, I am in the 2ww after my 2nd round of Clomid 50mg. I am 9/10dpo. I don't have high hopes for this cycle. My progesterone came back low. (8) The plan for next cycle is to up my clomid dose.
Cd 3--- start IUI in June with hopes of only doing 2 cycles due to finances.
Hubby finally talked to me about the whole "what he wants and feels". We agreed after IUI that we would just not do meds or chart for 6-9 months then he is getting a vasectomy.
Its nice to have a plan but we shall see.
Baby #2 MC June 2008
Baby #3 Born April 2009
Baby #4 due date February 2015
Update: Today (Saturday) I'm on CD 9. Took 25 mg of clomid on days 4,5,6; also taking PNV, B6 once/day and EPO 2x/day. I'll start my good ol' robitussin and mucinex "therapy" on cd 14 to improve cm. Go to the doc on cd 15 for u/s, b/w and p/c (next Friday). I'm really starting to lose hope. We've had incredible timing the past 4 months, and still nothing. We can't afford IVF and never will, and IUI at this point is not an option because, if it fails, insurance will cover nothing from then on. I'll be talking to my doc on Friday about our options- injectibles, different meds, etc... and I'll be asking for the progesterone pills instead of the crinone 8% suppositories, because we haven't even had sex since O time last month because I couldn't bring myself to do it on the suppository, and then I got my period, and yesterday I had minor surgery. Ugh.
QOTW: We have a bunch of tropical fish, a love bird we inherited, and a 4 year old boxer Clyde. We're going to the puppy adoption rescue today to maybe get another, which is why I made this the QOTW

My IF blog
Update: I got my 7dpo results back, and my progesterone level was only 2.9, which was disappointing. AF showed up on Saturday, so I'll be calling first thing in the morning to schedule my HSG for either the end of this week or the beginning of the following week. DH dropped off his sample for a SA on Friday, so we are hoping to have the results back from that by mid-week.
QOTW: I have 4 cats (Mogwai, Rascal, Spaz, and Pancake) as well as an 18 month old Husky. Spaz and Pancake hide from my DD (and everyone else - they are very anti-social except with myself and DH). The other 3 animals absolutely adore her, and let her pretty much get away with murder. I love watching them together.
