Makes me feel better! I didn't get a card or a homemade meal. DH only wishes me a happy mothers day because I b!tched at him.

I got a card but i may as well not have. DH groaned and moaned about it all day and I still ended up doing everything i normally would... including getting up early to get coops ready for the day.... I would have prefered no card and a little help instead!

A little help would be nice. I asked DH to change a diaper this morning, and he said "No, it's mother's day, you should get to fully enjoy all the things a mother has to do." Ugh.

I got a card but MIL picked it out and gave it to DH to give to me... She sends him cards to give to me for every holiday and he doesn't get why it bothers me. The point is I want a card that he picked out - not a card from his mom that she has him write his name on!

WOW I don't know what to say to that....thats just....wow.....men sometimes....

I am sorry so many of you had such an unfortunate Mothers Day. *Hugs* to all of you.

For what its worth I had a very nice Mothers Day. O woke up at 5am (she normally wakes at 7) DH got up with her and I got to sleep in till 8. I went and saw Avengers by myself. I would have went with DH when he saw it last weekend but we have no one to watch LO so I went today. I only changed 1 diaper today and that is because I was getting O dressed and she needed one. DH got me a beautiful bouquet of tulips and we went out to dinner.

This is fantastic! No card for me, but at the same time I'm hoping DH is waiting to give it to me when he gives me my gift. He wasn't able to finish it this weekend because Ty and I were home with colds or the flu or something,

Too bad his card won't have Ryan Gosling on it!
