FFFC anyone?

Here's mine...I know some people posted earlier this week that they think all the hype over mother's day is silly and that some of the moms on here sound "grabby" asking for gifts and such, but I don't even care!  I feel like I have been working incredibly hard for the past 4 months (and throughout all 9 months of my pregnancy) taking care of this little baby, and I think it's nice to have a day to be acknowledged for that.  It's not like our babies can say thank you at this point!

I also don't feel bad for wanting a nice gift.  In many other corporate jobs and such, you get bonuses for hard work...so why can't motherhood be the same?  I don't think I'll feel this way for all the mothers days, but this one is special and I'd like to treat it as such.

    Agreed!! My hubby is deployed but I received my flowers and chocolates yesterday :)

    Mine is that I am cuddling with DD right now cuz I feel like we don't get cuddle time very often anymore. I know, not bad, but I specifically took her out of her carseat when she was asleep so I could cuddle.

    I made sure DH knew what was expected out of him so as that I would not be disappointed.  However, he normally doesn't disappoint, even without any encouragement from me.
