I had a hard time finding replacement tubing for my pump in style so I ordered some from Amazon. When it arrived I realized it was not made by Medela but said "Made in Taiwan" and it looked brand new but was not in the sterile packaging like so much of their other stuff. So, now I am a little wary about using it but frustrated because 3 of the 4 Medela tubes I have used have gotten moldy and I need to use something, but now I am down to 1 tube that doesn't have mold and Medela doesn't seem to make replacement tubes. Anyone else had this issue, and is it OK to use the tubes I received from Amazon?
Re: Pump in style replacement tubing
I would probably sterilize the tubing myself and the use it.
That said, contact Medela for replacement tubing. They make it and sell it. They gave me free tubes with a replacement faceplate when I was having issues with my pump. To buy from their website directly, go to the Breastpumps page. Select which pump you have. On the left, there is now a menu that has "Replacement Parts". Go to that page and it has the tubing listed.
