Mother's Day plans?

What's everyone up to for Mother's day? Any thing special? We are just going to a car show this  morning. Not exactly what I feel like doing but I just want to be with my family so it'll do. haha. Whatever you ladies do enjoy it! Happy mommy's day!

    Nothing elaborate... church with our families, a special outfit for DD, exchanging small (but special) gifts.... Even though we don't really have anything planned, I still feel like it's a special day! DH gave me a huge potted sunflower this morning, it's beautiful :D

    Sun flowers are pretty! And even if you don't get gifts it just a blessing to have your LO and be a mommy. Smile

    Hubby gave me my gift last night.. the card was so spot on and totally sums up our life and made me laugh.  He is asleep till 2:30PM and after that wants to either cook me dinner or take me out to dinner.. depending on how  our little man is feeling.  If he is fussy we'll eat at home. 

    We went to the mall last night and picked up some new outfits for Dominik, 3 tops and 2 pairs of pants from Osh Kosh... $26 for all 5 was a good deal... and a new bear from Build a bear.. we got him a cute chocolate puppy called patches :)

    Nice relaxing weekend so far :)

    My whole family is coming here for brunch. DH got me flowers and a card and for my present I get to go pick out a new outdoor furniture set. I'm excited!

    DH is making me breakfast right now and has something planned for the day but won't tell me what.  Then we're having my parents and brothers over for dinner.  Should be a very fun day!

    So far my husband took care of the baby all  morning so that I could sleep in.  There is some large family brunch going on but I didn't want to go.  I just want today to be the three of us, not a whole bunch of people.  We are going to take time to make a proper dinner tonight.

    Yesterday DH watched the baby so I could go out and get a haircut and do a little fun shopping sans baby. It was wonderful to get out on my own for a couple hours.

    Today was church then lunch at a semi-local seasonal food/ice cream place (near church not home). Got free ice cream with our meal. Just a small sundae. Then tonight we are going to a closer ice cream place that is doing free ice cream for mom, any item, with a purchase of at least $4. Looking forward for my peanut butter cup blizzard knock off later. :)

    That's my present too!

    We aren't doing a whole lot.  We went to church, then visited my mom.  Later we will visit DH's mom for a little BBQ, then come home.  Low key kind of day.

    DH took care of baby all night on saturday so that i could sleep and rest. We stayed in yesterday. DH cooked me breakfast, gave me flowers/card, a gift certificate to my favorite spa and than my sister and her husband with kids came over. we ate lunch and just realxed together. My mom is super sick so i couldnt spend the day with her. All in all it was just the way i wanted my first mothers day to be, RELAXED at home! LO cooperated for the first time too, i think my DH must have spoken to her lol because she was an angel, she is normally fussy and very irritable because of her reflux.

    Hope everyone had a great mothers day! :)
