Lupron Question

This is my first IVF cycle and I started Lupron 5 days ago. I started feeling dizzy the same day I started taking it. I called my RE and she said she was not concerned and to continue taking it unless my dizziness got worse. So far the dizziness has stayed the same but today I started feeling muscle weakness and fatigue. Are these normal side effects of Lupron? When do Lupron side effects start going away? (I am on 10 IU right now and will drop down to 5 IU when I start stims, hopefully Friday).

    Lupron made me feel the same way. I hated it. Luckily, for me that awful feeling went away right after I dropped down to 5IU. Good luck with your cycle!

    Thank you for responding, I feel better knowing that someone else dealt with these side effects too. I can't wait until Friday when I can lower my dose :)

    I think I was very fortunate because I didn't really experience any Lupron side effects other than fatigue. But I have heard many women describe numerous awful side effects of that drug in particular. Hang in there. I hope you experience some relief when your dose is lowered!

    I had welts at the injection site and headaches. Sorry you're feeling crummy.
