Another woe is me mother's day post

So DH got me some beautiful mother's day flowers last night. I am greatful he did something for me and the flowers are beautiful but yet I am disappointed. It's the first Sunday since 2008 he is off of work and since my mom his here and we have not had a date night since LO was born I was hoping for one. A few minutes ago I mentioned the dinner idea and his brushed me off saying its too late for reservations

So go without one? you can use the time you wait for a table to chat and enjoy each others company without LO.

yeah, not every place needs reservations. the important thing is that you'd be out together. go someplace casual and just enjoy each other's company.
