It seems like every week an item goes into the "misc" section with no image, price, or info. I know it can still be picked up in stores but it makes me feel like the items are discontinued or something.

Ooh, can I add BRU complaints here too?? When we made the registry, the customer service lady asked me if I wanted gift cards on the registry and I said NO. Well, gifts cards are on our registry and I can't delete them! Annoying.

Also, giving my phone number to BRU was a bad idea. They call me once a week to see if I want to add more to my registry, WTF??

I had more as well, but I can't think of them.

I never changed my name so DH and I have 2 different names. With Amazon, if you search for my name or you search for DH you get the registry. But with BRU, if you want to search DH's name you have to select co-registrant. WTF, get with the 21st century BRU. If you just select his name you won't get it. This raised a long standing argument with my ILs about the stupid name change.

LOL! That's awesome! I registered online so no one calls me from BRU.

I periodically check the registry at BRU online to make sure nothing has been discontinued since I discovered that issue a few months ago. I had to move those items back onto the amazon registry. Some of my amazon things periodically are unavailable (like our glass 4oz bottles). I registered at target and buy buy baby mainly for the completion coupons.

UGH the BRU reg sucks so bad!! I got about 5 duplicate items at my shower ( everyone said they did go through the registry)-- I brought them in today to return and the customer service desk said there had been a "glitch" but offered not even one word of apology. YES, it is a huge pain in the a** to be pregnant and have to bring 2 snugabunny swings back into the store. Before I left I printed our registry in the store and the damn swing was STILL on the registry. They also listed that we "requested" protection plans for 3 different items ( including a plan for the baby bjorn-- what?!) which we did NOT request. I was and am still pissed. I feel like its a conspiracy to get people BACK into the store to purchase more items ( obvi it worked bc I did buy some diapers and wipes today... but whatever)

Here's what I did that worked, and was a ton of fun:
When they call you next time, just ask to add something completely ridic. I think I told them I really wanted a placenta recipe book and and a DVD (I made it up) called something like "You, Baby, and Afterbirth: A Love Story".
They don't call me anymore.

i loved my experiance with them. when you register the scanner alerted you if the quanities in the warehouse and store are low. We registered at 18 weeks when my shower was 27 weeks and not one thing got switched around. The customer service was fantastic and I only got one phone call. Come to my store lol. theyre rgeat.
