Hotel Cribs?

Has anyone used the cribs provided by hotels?  We are taking a weekend trip over Memorial day weekend, and we only have the Graco Travel Lite crib, which is too small for DD now.  It's not the standard size pack n play.  I found a pack n play for around $50 that's simple but will do the trick, but I'm wondering if we should just use the cribs the hotel says they provide and save that money for dinner out or something.  I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience.  I would bring a bunch of disinfectant supplies to sterilize that sucker before letting DD sleep in it, and would bring our own crib sheets.

Any input from those who have used them would be oh so very helpful :)

Thanks!

We've used them twice. The first place had an actual crib on rollers and the second place had a full size PNP. It was easy peasy IMO and so much better than having to lug something around. We don't bed share so it worked well for us.

  • The hotel I used to work at (Marriott brand) had full size pack n plays. We did not provide crib sheets of any kind so bringing your own is a good idea.

We use a pack and play.  I think it's worth the $50.  We actually keep ours out in our living room in case I need to contain her for a few minutes- like when I am bringing in groceries.  You can also use them to make your own ballpit.

We have a small one but it isn't standard PNP size.  She plays in it, stands in it, we put her toys in it, but it would be a bit cramped for sleeping, I'm afraid.

Thanks, we don't bed share either, and the more car space/money we can save, the better!  I think we'll try it.  We'll be in Denver, so the worst that could happen is that the hotel crib doesn't work and we run to Target in Colorado and purchase a cheap PNP.

We've used them twice.  They were both perfectly fine and came delivered with clean sheets.
