I was wondering if anyone has Mirena and stopped getting their period after a month? I got it placed in February, bled/spotted until the end of March and then there's nothing since. I know that it can lighten or stop periods, but so soon? I know everyone's different, but was curious if this was normal. Thanks!

It didn't happen that way for me, but I've seen other ladies post that it happened for them.

I'm not sure if it's the Mirena or breastfeeding...I had it placed Feb 10th and had mild spotting after that. Exactly a week later I had what I really thought was a period. Exactly four weeks after that I had heavy spotting for four or five days. Really I spotted off and on through March and early April, but nothing really since then. But I'm exclusively breastfeeding too. I will say that within days of the period-like bleeding in Feb, my hair ALL started to fall out, which was another thing that made me really think it was my period.
If it is the Mirena I will be happy to have no period when I'm done BFing too! hah.
