CD 21 test results...

The nurse at my RE's office left a voice stating the results were normal and specifically my progesterone was 10.7 and they like it to be over 8.  I also had kerotyping done but obviously those results take longer.  The next step is CD3 (including an AMH test) testing and a saline sonogram between CD 10-16. 

It probably sounds weird, but I'm bummed my progesterone was normal.  Everything seemed to point to low progesterone including short LP, spotting before AF so I assumed that would be the answer and I would go on suppositories.  My OB previously told me the 3 consecutive m/c were "bad luck" and now I'm worrying that she might be right. 

I realize there's still more testing to be done that might still lead to an answer.  But I'm 100% OOP so my options are definetly restricted depending on what is found.  Now I'm waiting for AF which if my cycles return to what they were before this loss should be in the next 3-4 days (I'm 6dpo now).

BFP: 2/27/12. u/s showed blighted ovum at 9wks Natural m/c started 4/11, cytotec 4/13/12 (at 12 wks). **

First appt with RE 5/7. Testing complete. Dx: luteal phase defect

BFP 10/25/12. u/s on 11/16 confirms heartbeat image

    I completely understand why your bummed about your normal progesterone! It has to be frustrating to not know what's causing the short LP. I hope you get some answers soon!

    Sorry this wasn't the answer you were looking for.  Hoping that they find an answer soon, and one that has a relatively easy fix.

    DD conceived after 3 years of ttc.
    MFI - DH had varicocele repair and took Clomid to get DD b. 02/2010

    TTC #2 since 6/2010
    10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
    A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013. 
    DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair. 
    Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies. 
    Wishing, hoping, waiting.

    I'd be looking for answers beyond "bad luck" too. I hope they find an answer for you soon and that it's a budget friendly one.

    I am sorry. I was frustrated when my OB said my progesterone was normal back in January. I went on the suppositories anyway because I was also having spotting before AF. We'll never know if our last pregnancy made it that far because of the supplements, but it never hurts. ((Hugs))
