    i also couldn't choose just one picture.  i took the theme of still life to be "life frozen" -- a snapshot of something fleeting.

    here cora's small foot next to my mother's larger foot, both with pedicures:image

     

    and in this picture, a bubble an instant before it bursts, reflects my parents' house, a deck umbrella, and the dying willow tree they plan to cut down this summer:

    Ashley- I really like the one of just the apple from above. That's quite the shadow! Cool shot.

    Mesr- The mom and dd foot shot is very sweet. I immediately got where you were going with it. And that bubble shot is very cool! You must have been quick, and your parents' house and willow tree in the background makes it even better. Awesome.

    I've got nothing again this week, but I enjoyed seeing both of your photos.
