XP: NICU follow-up

We just came back from our 6 mos NICU follow-up. We have to wait about a week for the formal report but the doctor said that Marshall and Cecilia are right on target for their adjusted age. Marshall is our stronger one and Cecilia is our more social one. Although I do think both babies would have performed better had they had their normal nap.

For their adjusted age Marshall (15lbs) is in the 80th percentile for head size and weight and average for height. Cecilia (12 1/2 lbs) is average for head size and weight and a little above average for height. 

 We have to go back in 3 mos for more testing and they will get their hearing checked at that point too. 

Even more good news is finally got Cecilia to drink exclusively from a regular high flow nipple. I hope at her GI appointment next week the doctor drops her calorie intake from 27kcal to either 24kcal or 22kcal. Marshall is completely taking just breastmilk now although I do sometimes give him a couple bottles with added formula just for the extra nutrition. 

Whew...I'm happy that appointment is over and done with.
