Bum genius tutorial please

So I am experimenting with cloth diapers... Bought some bum geniius at but buy baby. I have no idea where to begin... Where do the inserts go? Can someone please give me a step by step dummy tutorial because I am stumped. I think I am thinking too hard!

    Yes, definitely thinking too hard :)  The inserts go into the pocket part up near the velcro tabs (or snaps if that's the kind you have).  Stuff an insert or 2 in there (depending on how much absorbency you want - and you will get a feel for what works for your LO as you use them), velcro/snap those bad boys on LO just like a sposie and you're done.

    I prefer bamboo and hemp inserts because they are trimmer and more absorbent than microfiber but the microfibers might be just fine for you.

    When you change her, pull out the insert, velcro the tabs down so they don't stick together in the wash and toss everything in your diaper pail.  Easy peasy!

    Check out this.  It's a little long but it shows you how to use it.  The only thing is she shows an aplix diaper, not snaps (if thats what you have)

    Awesome! Thank you! I think I was thrown off by the snaps on the padding!!! :) I promise I'm not that dense:)

    Welcome to the wonderful world of cloth....so fun!

    I see you got your answers but I wanted to add that the snaps on the BG inserts are for sizing purposes...snap it down to make it smaller or leave it completely unfolded and unsnapped for the highest rise on the dipes.
