I like to fill Finley's baby pool and wait a few days for the sun to warm it up because it is wayyyy too cold right after filling. Only problem is that after several days it starts to get a little slimy. Gross I know. Is there any way to safely add a pinch of chlorine to prevent this slime? Anyone ever heard of doing this in a kiddie pool? It almost like we are unable to use her pool because of coldness at first and then slime. It takes Several days because while it is a baby pool it's not one of the super tiny ones. It is like this one...

Re: Baby pool and chlorine?
I didn't find anything specifically about chlorine, but I did find this. Which has a calculator for the appropriate amount of different chemicals.
ETA: I guess it does talk about chlorine, I didn't read the front page, just the calculator page!

Like pps I would suggest trying to find some way to get warm water added to the pool instead of resorting to chlorine.
If you think the pool is too big for a pot or so of water there are attachments you can buy to be able attach a hose to either a kitchen or bathroom faucet and run the hose outside to add warm water to the pool. (either a garden hose or plastic hosing that you can buy at like Home Depot) The attachments are cheap to between $2-5 for most of them.
DH has so many hoses and attachments that he uses for his fish tanks (hes had tanks ranging from 100 to 600 gallons) and he has used them to empty the tanks outside either putting something out a door or window. If you have to take this route and have any questions let me know.
