XP PSA: Witch Hazel at Walgreens

Ok, so I'm a couponer and when I see a really good deal that's relevant for other mommies, I always try to share. In the birthing classes I took and the books that I read, they told me to soak a maxipad with Witch Hazel, put it in the freezer, and they claim that it will do wonders for my lady parts after birth.

For those of us that shop at Walgreens, there's a great deal on T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel this week. It's priced at $4 and you get $4 back in Register Rewards to spend on your next purchase. ALSO, if you text "MOM" to the number 21525, you will get a 15% off coupon good for use today only. I used my $4 to buy some much-needed body lotion that's kind of expensive otherwise. Have fun and HTH someone!

Re: XP PSA: Witch Hazel at Walgreens

  • Darn it I just bought witch hazel pads from them today.   I'm too lazy to go return them.   Though I do like the idea of a soaking a maxi pad in it. and freezing it.  Last time around I got Dermaplast from the hospital and that felt pretty good.   Walgreens also has it.

  • Maybe it's just me, but the other day I sent DH out to replenish my stock of witch hazel pads, and he came back with Dickinson's instead of Tucks. The Dickinson's witch hazel pads have something in them (grain alcohol?) that stings/burns my lady parts, so I'll be saving them for my facials.

Maybe the Dickinson's in a bottle is a different formula, though.
