Right now, the only ones i come across are the platic ones and i hate it because you have to throw them out constantly - he loves having smoothies ...etc so they get yucky quick
DD has a couple of Pura stainless steel sippy cups. They don't have straws though.

This all the way! Looooooove our Foogo straw sippies. I get the stainless ones. They're a great size for DD2 and the keep liquids cold forever (I mean, ice will stay in liquid all day in there w/out melting).

lurker normally, but we have the safe sippy linked above and really liked it a lot when DD was in sippy mode. She is a smoothie addict too, I actually give her regular cups with glass straws and she does great. Granted she is older but if you supervise, it could work....
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.

This sippy cup is stainless steel and has a straw adapter. I think I am going to try this one.

The Safe Sippy 2 has a straw or you can take it off to just use the spout.
