Mid Pregnancy Ultrasound!!

in 2nd Trimester
I am 18 1/2 weeks and yesterday I finally got to make the appoinment for my mid pregnancy ultrasound.  The countdown is on!!!!!  Only two more weeks!!!! I can't wait to see my precious angel Big Smile  I hope the next two weeks are the fastest of my life!  Does anyone else have their ultrasound coming up??

    My docter allowed me to schedule one no earlier than 18 weeks, I'll be almost 19 when we go next Friday.  I am very excited because we are taking both of our mothers with us.

    His mother has 3 grandchildren already, but they were all born out of state and she's not been to an u/s with any of them. So I figured that this would mean alot to her.

    This is the first grandchild on my side of the family so I am hoping that I see my mom cry tears of joy for her late mothers day celebration. (we are going to lunch and baby registering after the u/s)

    Mine is in a couple of weeks, I am very much looking forward to it.  Hoping for a report of a healthy happy baby in there

    How exciting!!

     Our baby is the first grandchild for both sides of our families!  Everyone is so excited and ready to be grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles Big Smile  My husband and I decided that we would be the only ones at the ultrasound, but then we're going out to dinner with everyone that night to announce what we're having!!  I can't wait!

    I'll have mine in 12 days and am SUPER excited!  My parents will be in from out of town and will likely go with us.  It's the first grandchild on my side and they are so excited to be Nonna and Nonno!  They have never seen an ultrasound and I think it will be a really nice 'gift' to give them.

    Mine is Tuesday the 15th! I absolutely cannot wait - I will be almost 19 weeks (so I hope it is not too early). We are going to be the only ones at the Ultrasound, but have decided to find out the sex with our families. We are going to ask the ultrasound tech to put the gender in an envelope and I am bringing it to a co-worker. She is going to call a bakery and have them make a cake with the filling either blue or pink. Then, we are going to cut into the cake with our parents and siblings there. I know it's cheesy but I wanted a way for everyone to feel involved (without everyone being in the room for the ultrasound!)

    Mine is on Friday, at one, not that I am counting. slowest. week, ever,

    The bright side is its giving me extra time to pray for a girl. DH wants a boy and I am like, dude, I cannot handle round two of DS - I just see wrestling matches broken china and farts and pee all over everything.

    Oh well at least its a gaurntee that one of us will leave happy.

    Mine is scheduled for June 6th! It seams like it is so far away, but it has also been scheduled for so long that it is nice that it is slowly coming up.

    My sister is a pastry chef and we are doing something similar only with cupcakes ... we will have a party the night of since it will be 2 days after my bday (June 6) so when we are ready to announce everyone will get a cupake so they can all bite into it at the same time !!! We love it!!! Hoping for pink filling!!!!

    My ultrasound was moved up a day due to my husband's schedule and my doctor's office actually had an opening!!! Only 10 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
