extra skin/ scar tissue at incision?

Does anyone else have this? They just took the tape off of me yesterday at my 3 week check up and I noticed I have this where my incision is. It is minor, but looks kind of ugly to me... does this ever go away? Bummed...

    Maybe I described it oddly... I showed my husband and he said that is just what any sewn up incision looks like. I googled c-section incisions in images and its true. But I thought it would be flat and smooth, oh well.... Does it change through the years?

    It will smooth out and lighten over time. The amount of time it takes just depends on how you heal.
