Pretty much all of the nest migrated over. They created all the same boards and everything. They're wondering if the bumpies are going to do the same thing.

Wow is it really that bad on the Nest that everyone is gettining p!ssed off and leaving? (I don't follow nest boards...off to see what all the fuss is about).

I seem to recall that maybe several people on this board set up something similar some time ago. Before all this latest brouhaha with the stupidity of the powers that be.

Yep. I have been lurking over there yesterday afternoon but I have not created a log in as yet.

ETA: After 15 mins of lurking over there I decided to create a log in. I may be there to stay nest wise if the others stay.

I saw it. To be honest, I think it's annoying. Just looking at that other board makes my eyes hurt. If they'll just be patient, I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Kimbo - I know you mean well, and are trying to preserve the board but thing is...looking at the nest boards now hurts my eyes! It seriously is a clusterf--- over there! I know there are still bugs that need to be worked out with various things, but the overall look and feel of the new form, in a word, sucks. And while I haven't registered nor participated on these newly created boards, I think what many people are liking just going by my initial peak at the boards is that people have more control over their information that's put out there and more flexibility in changing emails/screen names/etc.

Oh and I want to add that I don't think the new format is as terrible as everyone is making it out to be. I don't like the title on top of each post and the emoticons are ugly, but that will take some getting used to. I DO like that you can choose to turn off siggies (mostly because at work I can't see them so this will cut down on a lot of blank space for me).

I hope June 11 doesn't go anywhere. I made an account on the other site because I like following the Money Matters board, but I will still post here as long as there are others here.

My local board has a proboard now and that's where every is. It's very active. I didn't like it at first but now I love it! Makes me sad because I'm been using this since The Knot and working my way up through the boards. I really hope they don't change this one because I like you guys a lot but the new format is very irritating and I tried to like it, but I can't.
