Two years ago today....

I went into labor with my son on Mother's Day evening at 29 weeks. I had gone into labor 5 weeks prior and with hospitalized bedrest and meds they kept him baking for an extra 5 weeks. I do not know where these 2 years have gone. I still get choked up thinking of his coming into the world and his long 74 days in the NICU. Not sure I will get over it ever. On a happy note, my son is doing amazing. Almost potty trained 100%, talking in complete sentences and there is nothing he cannot say and so intelligent (sorry for the brags). While he was behind on all of his physical milestones, he has sped forward with all the other milestones. He did not walk til almost 17 months, did not crawl to almost 11 months, etc... but none of that matters anymore! I cannot wait til our 2 year appt on Friday to see his height and weight! When I see him next to other kids his exact age withing a month or two, he is just a tiny bit smaller or the same size.
