Please clarify if our posts will be searchable off the internet or tied to Facebook on the new format. What changes should we expect with the new format? The best part about these boards is the anonymity and safety of sharing our struggles together. Please advise. Thanks.

Re: ** Bump people - new format **
From what I've experienced on The Nest, which just switched to the new format, you should expect:
Extreme slowness, disappearing posts, slowness, empty posts, slowness, less posts per page, slowness, eye cramping from the title of the post being above each and every reponse, more slowness and basically a clusterfuuck. I do think it will eventually get better; it has to, otherwise they'll lose all their advertising $$$$$$ if people start jumping ship to other websites.

*don't forget slowness* LOL!
My local board on TN is about DOA because all the posters left and formed their own board somewhere else, they got fed up with the new format.

My local board switched to a private facebook group because the new format was so bad. Not to mention, I couldn't use it. For some reason, it didn't work with my Firefox browser or something. I could read, but couldn't post.
There's also some weirdness where your profile information or something connects with FB somehow...
If it switches over and I can't post anymore, I'm going to miss you ladies. You've been my lifeline to non-crazyhood...

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
It seems to be a little bit better already, as you can actually access TN! ("Page not found" was a pretty popular error message on Tuesday)

Your posts are not tied to Facebook whatsoever in the new format. We've removed the share button from profile pages and the share button from posts.

Yeah, I'm going to edit it, mostly because my board is a BMB so it isn't flowing like yours, but the general points are all so well put. Thank you much!
