"Internal stitch" is out

So I had my c/s on 4/14.  I never had troubles with the incision & it seems to be healing well.  However, on one side it seemed bumped up.   I rubbed it just a little bit and the end of an "internal stitch" popped out.  It seems like the skin below it was healed closed and the stitch had nowhere else to go but out.  But now I have a "nice" scar with a stitch out on one side.  Anyone had this before??

My pp apt is on the 5/15 (next week Tues).  Should I be worried or call it in before then?

    I had that happen and at my pp appointment the doctor yanked it out.  No biggie.

    It is probably just where they tied it off. I had the same situation where it poked out. My OB just puledlit up and cut it off. As long as it isn't infected I wouldn't worry about it.

    I had this happen too. My dr removed it and gave me antibiotics because it had gotten a tiny bit infected. It wasn't a big deal at all.

    The knot at the end of my internal whip stitch stuck out one end. The suture inside was supposed to dissolve and the knot fall off, but I ended up pulling it up and out and cutting it off with scissors.
