Refusing breastfeeding

My 5.5 month old has refused the breast both yesterday and today each time it's offered eventhough I know she is hungry.  Hoping this isn't the end of breastfeeding :(  Sad, dissapointed and frustrated

    Mine went through a phase like this, she would refuse the breast but suck down a bottle of expressed milk so I knew she was hungry.  I gave her bottles for a couple days, and just made sure to offer the breast first each time, and she went back to it, so just keep trying.  I think it happens when they get to the age where everything distracts them.

    Any chance LO is teething? DS didn't eat very well for 1-2 days, then his first tooth broke through.
