I'm wondering if, when you use HCG to trigger ovulation, does it still only release eggs from one ovary, or does it cause mature eggs from either ovary to be released? I'm assuming that you would still only ovulate from one side but I haven't found information to confirm or disprove that.
TIA!

Not necessarily. it will "trigger" or force all mature follicles to release eggs; which could be one and just one side or could be multiple and be on both sides. The only way to know how many will release is to be properly monitored by ultrasound
